PRAYER
Great Spirit.
I pray that you will speak
through me.
That it be not my voice but
yours.
I am a part of you, You are
me.
My Spirit is your Spirit.
Together, the Spirit of all
things makes up your Spirit.
We are all one.
Every Human Being is one
The whole Universe is One.
That One is the Great Spirit.
Called by many names:
God, Lord, Allah, Father,
Mother,
The I am that I am, Yahweh, The Unnamable.
No matter what name we call
what we believe in, even if we believe in Nothing,
that Nothing is what I am
referring to here and now when I say Great Spirit.
Great Spirit,
Speak through me.
This is my prayer.

I can not personally guarantee
that what I write here is from the Great Spirit, from God.
It is my prayer, my hope, my
dream, my wish.
All I know is that there is a
lot inside me that wants to get out. I
fear writing all that I am thinking for it is powerful stuff. I don’t care if not a single human being
reads what I am writing. I am writing it
because I am human and I need to write what I am thinking. It is important to me to express these
thoughts. It is more important then life
itself to me. My whole life has been
about coming to this moment when I would express these ideas. They have been forming my whole life. So you understand how I came to these ideas I
will tell you my whole story, or as much as I am able. I will tell you the whole Truth. I promise that. It will be a hard thing to do but to the most
of my ability I will tell the whole Truth, nothing but the Truth. I will explain what I mean by Truth. I will try to explain what I mean by all the
words I use. I hope that you will
understand my words. If not I wish you
all the best on your own search for Truth.
I am open to any truth. If you
want to tell me something that is True to you I want to hear it. I will listen and if it is Truth for me I
will adopt it and thank you for bringing this Truth that is now our Truth to
me. If I do not agree with your Truth I
will recognize that I can not see the whole Truth. That you see a Truth that I do not see. It does not make your Truth any less the
Truth then the Truth I see. We just see
different parts. Indeed the whole Truth
is all our Truths. You say, "how
can that be”? If I believe that killing
human beings is necessary and you believe it is not how can two opposites be
the same Truth. We can not understand
this because none of us can see the whole Truth. This is what makes us human. If we could see the whole Truth we would be
God or one with God. Now, some people
claim to be one with God and that their Truth is the only Truth and the whole
Truth. That is fine. Assuming that that is true, that there are
those among us that have the whole Truth and can see it all the time then they
can do nothing but help us all to see more of the Truth. (Those of us who are
willing to listen to any Truth). If any
of us find something in their Truth that is not right for us then we simply do
not see their part of the Truth. We have
fought many battles over this; millions upon millions have died and have killed
for this: That you do not accept my
Truth.
Thus, my first declaration is
that:
I do not see the
whole Truth and I accept that what you believe, is
what is True for you and I will not kill you for that.
I will let you kill me rather
then kill you to make you accept my Truth.
In fact, I would rather you killed me if you believe that what I believe
somehow prevents you from the Truth. I
want you to find Truth. I want you to
find happiness. I want you to find
Love. I would rather die then be in your
way to finding those things. I love
you. Each and everyone one of you. It may not be a perfect love but I want it to
be. I want to love each and every human
being on the planet or anywhere in the Universe, and every creature. Don’t you see, if you kill me for believing
what I believe, to me, that makes my Truth, True. You have confirmed for me that I believe in
the right thing. That I am on the path
to Truth. I am right. Now I caution you who believe everything
that I have said so far just because you are right, just because you are killed
does not mean any one else will believe that you were right. You are right for yourself and that is what
is important. If you have truly looked
at what you believe in and you feel with your whole heart, not a doubt, that
what you believe is the Truth for you then you will have perfect peace, perfect
happiness and you will be willing to die for that.
You see what I have just
done?
I have made all killing
wrong. Yes even to kill someone who is
about to kill your own child. I have
made it wrong for myself. It is not that
radical of an idea. I believe a lot of
human beings have gone through their whole life believing this and living it or
at least tried to. Even all those who
have killed other people, if they came to believe that it was wrong at any
point in their life then they are a part of this Truth that I see. Do you see what can happen here? If you also believe, if we make this
declaration together then we are a group.
Not an organized one, not a religion, not a philosophy, just a
group. We are two who believe the same
thing.
I want to die knowing that I
lived the Truth that I saw. I believe
that killing another human being for any reason is wrong. I commit to not killing another human
being. I promise you that I will do
everything that I can to never kill another human being. Now what happens if a million people actually
read this and make the same commitment?
That might be a powerful force in the world. What happens if a million people make this
same statement and some or all decide to form an organization a religion or a
country? I can not stop that from
happening and I do not say that those things are bad but I for myself am
against it right now. I think we have
enough organizations and religions. A
country would be hard to form and make sure every single person in that country
believed the same core beliefs that that country was forming on. It could happen and it may be the right way
for things to happen but I am against it.
I think that if everyone individually comes to these statements and
says, “Yes I believe that too, I will live that truth” That is enough. We do not need to force any of these beliefs
on any one. Making any one else believe
what we do does not make what we believe more the True. I believe it because I believe it. It is the Truth I see and the Truth I need to
and want to live. Kill me if you need
to. But I have to believe this because I
love you. I may even in some moment of
passion, in some state of mental illness kill someone. It will not mean that I have changed what I
believe. I still commit to never killing
anyone. I still will try to never kill
anyone. I still love everyone. So you see it is not that hard of a
commitment to make. If you believe that
killing is wrong and are ready to commit to not killing then you believe what I
believe and I commit with you. Now what
if a billion people make this commitment?
(and by the way I believe that there are a billion people out there who
do already believe this and are committed to it.) That is a very powerful force - a billion
people. That is more then most
countries, that is more then most religions or
organizations.
With a few hundred thousand
people the Estonians declared their independence from the U.S.S.R. They did it by standing hand in hand to form
a 600 mile long human chain. They did it
by singing what they felt in their hearts, what they believed in. They did it by standing in front of tanks,
almost all that I know of without guns or any weapons of any kind. They did it without shredding a drop of blood. There are many other examples of the kind of
power that people have when they all believe in one thing. There are many examples of the kind of power
people have when ONE of them believe in something. We need to be careful of this power and this
brings me to my second belief and declaration.
I agree that no
one should be forced to believe what I believe.
As you can see this is a bit
more than just a book. It is a
book. It is my life story. It is everything that I have learnt and come
to believe and how I came to believe what I believe. It is also my commitment to you. I share this Earth with you, I claim to love
you and I believe I need to make these commitments to you. If you believe them and make them to the
world then that is what you believe. It
is yours. You may copy what I say word
for word but it is still you saying it, believing it. I believe that I am no more special then
you. I believe that we are all equal. I believe that the Great Spirit or God or
whoever or whatever you believe in and whatever name or not name you give to
this that you believe in, I believe That is Love. I believe we are all part of that Love. That we are meant to exist in that Love and
love each other perfectly. Furthermore I
believe that that is what we are doing here.
We are all learning to love each other.
We are learning if wars help us to love each other, if making everyone
believe what I believe is loving each other. I believe we are all on a path and that path
is to Truth and that Truth is Love.
Okay. Thanks for hanging in there all those that
are still reading this. I know it sounds
heavy or maybe it doesn’t to you but I promise to provide some laughter while
you are reading this. In fact I will
make it my Third declaration.
I promise to try
to bring you happiness.
I promise that everything I
write here is to try and bring you Joy.
Wow. I am just a human being like
you. You can just as easily as me make
that promise. Promise that you will try
to bring Joy to everyone in your life. I
know it sounds like an impossible task but bringing true joy does not mean we
do not share our sadness. I have some
terrible things to share with you.
Things that made me feel so bad I felt I was living in hell and I
was. I hope you do not feel bad when you
read what I felt. If you do I hope that
it brings you Joy in the end. You see, I
am not promising to take all the sadness in the world away. I can not do that. I believe that I can become Joyful. I am not there yet but I am starting to feel
Joy. I am feeling Joy because I am
sharing with you my life. I think it is
important - my
life. I think your life is just as
important. I think that the reason why I
am here in this life is more important then I can imagine and I think your life
is the same. You see how can I kill you
now? And what happens if every single
person in the whole world realizes this.
It is not that hard to
imagine. I know that I came to believe
these things, I know that I am just like
every other human being so I know that everyone can come to the place where
they truly only want to love every other human being. You say that I say that I love everyone but
I do not. This is true. I am not perfect and I can not love everyone
perfectly but I want to and I believe that every human being can and does want
to. That’s right. I believe we are already a group of 6 ½
billion. We all deep in our hearts want
to love everyone because deep down we all know that we are all part of the
Whole. First of all let me just say it
this way. We are all part of the
Universe. By the Universe I mean
everything that exists. Now I am not
going to go into Existentialism, although I could and maybe will someday, but I
will say right now that I believe everything that believes that they exist does
exist. I believe that a rock believes
that it exists and it does. I believe
that you exist. Not only that I believe
that you exist for a reason that you are entitled to Love, to perfect Love and
that you can obtain it.
Did I say that I was going to
provide some humour? Umm. Well I hope you laughed just now, I did.
Thanks for listening. It means the world to me that you took the
time to listen and think about what I wrote.
That was a loving thing to do to me.

me as well. That is why I am posting
this book on the Internet while I write it.
Every page will go up just as I wrote it, mistakes and all. I promised my wife that she can read this
before I post it. Her life is affected
by me writing this book so she needs to be included in my decisions on how I
will share this with you but other then that you are reading just what I wrote
at
I need to go to bed. I probably won’t sleep but I need to try and
take care of myself. My wife worries
about giving this book for free. It is
the only book I will ever write and I don’t believe that what I share with you
should cost you anything. If you want to
give me something give me your words, share your life with me. It is just as important to me as my own life. If you want to give something or do something
to assist in me sharing my life with everyone, I give you full permission to
copy, translate or use anything that I write here. You do not even need to say it was me that
you are copying it from. If you believe
it then it is yours. If you still want
to give something to me personally I have to accept it. I made a promise to the Great Spirit that I
would accept everything that comes my way.
It was a hard promise to make and to keep but I believe I have kept
it. It is hard for me to accept money
even when I do a good job and the person paying me wants desperately to pay me. I try to and I will try to accept anything
that anyone wants to give to support me in writing this book. It is thanks enough for me that you read it
and share your life with me.
Good night. Sleep tight. May all your dreams come true.
May we meet in this life or the next and when we meet may we know that we love
each other and may we feel this love for each other. Give me a hug and I will hug you back with
this love. Shake my hand and I will shake
yours with this love. Kill me and I will
die with this love for you.
Thank you Great Spirit for
all you have taught me.
Thank you for your Great and
perfect Love for all your creation.
There is only one God and it
is you.
You are my life, my love, my
spirit, my joy, my comfort, your watched me while I was sick. You have a purpose for me. Thank you for your love and Grace that was
enough for me to get me to this point and will carry me through my whole life. Thank you for your patience with me as I did
things that were unloving to myself and thus put off this role you have meant
for me. Thank you that you have perfect
timing and even though it has taking me longer to see the Truth that you wanted
me to see then was necessary I know you will use me as your voice. Help me. Continue to teach me Truth. Help me to live the Truths that you have
shown me and that you will show me. Give
me strength, your strength not mine to live a pure life, to love all that you
love. I asked you to show me Truth and
you did. Thank you. Help me to share my life in a way that will
encourage others to seek Truth, to seek the Love that they deserve and are
already in. To seek You. It is you who is the Truth. I am only the messenger. Help me to be an empty vessel for your
message.
